Your Questions About Medicines That Cause Ringing In The Ears

Mandy asks…Can medical depression and/or medicines used can contribute to tinnitus?tinnitus is a ringing phenomenon in the ear that has no specific cause. Some beleive that is attributed by excessive noise causing ear damage or harded ear wax.

I am asking because i suffer from tinnitus and if I miss my depression medicine, the saound increases. Sounds like motor engines running.
Edit : I changed my medication recently and the sound increased :(
What helps me is listening to relaxation music
